The Shaw Group, Llc is seeking a Materials Handling Specialist 2 to load, unload, and move materials at the Walker, LA facility. The role involves operating a forklift, coordinating on-site material transfers, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and locations.

Responsibilities include reading instructions, ensuring timely material flow to meet production schedules, and adhering to safety and project rules. Prior forklift experience and ability to lift up to 25 lbs are beneficial.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience with pipe material and fittings is preferred.
• Receiving and/or forklift experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload materials within plant, yard, or work site.
• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials between departments.
• Inspect and verify material per specifications.
• Maintain records of material inventory and location.
• Support safety and housekeeping requirements.
