Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a material handler to receive, check in, and process freight on-site. You will move finished chillers, deliver freight to warehouses, and maintain 5S standards in a fast-paced environment. Outdoor work may be required and forklift training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities include data entry, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks. Must be able to read/write English and have basic computer skills; PIV certification is

Qualifications

• Must be PIV certified.
• Yard Tractor and/or Straddle Crane or comparable heavy machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English for assembly directions, Work Order packets and safety instructions.
• Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
• 3 - 6 months of material handling experience.
• Must have strong computer skills.

Work Location and Conditions

Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) The general material process may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different areas, or they may be required to work in a specific area depending on experience, training, and skill level to perform work tasks.

• Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs., as requested.

Experience and Skills Required

• Must be PIV certified.

Compensation

• Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $19.71 - $21.84
