Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Material Handling Coordinator to join our team at the Bismarck, Missouri plant. You will receive, organize, and manage parts and materials, ensuring proper stocking, tracking, and readiness for maintenance and production needs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.

You will inspect incoming items, stock them accurately, process requisitions, and maintain CMMS records while supporting continuous improvement in warehousing processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and inventory control principles.
  • Understanding of ABC warehousing fundamentals is a plus.
  • Mechanical parts knowledge is a plus.
  • Forklift license is an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills to update and maintain inventory records.
  • Ability to read packing slips and labels.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and sort incoming parts; operate a forklift to unload and move items.
  • Stock items in the Parts Room and Satellite Storage; label and locate items accurately.
  • Process requisitions and distribute parts to internal users.
  • Prepare and stage parts for upcoming PM work orders.
  • Review CMMS work orders and maintain records.
  • Prepare and submit orders to replenish stock; conduct cycle counts.
  • Maintain Min/Max levels and unique IDs for all items.
  • Prepare and package items for shipping to vendors for repair.

Job Summary

TheMaterial Handling Coordinatoris responsible foraccurately receiving, organizing, and managing all parts and materials across the facility, ensuring inventory is properly stocked, tracked, and prepared to support maintenance and production needs.This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and sort incoming parts and materials;operatea forklift to unload and move items asrequired

  • Stock items in an orderly, accessible manner in the Parts Room andSatelliteStorage areas;establishandmaintain proper labeling and location accuracy

  • Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies to internal users

  • Prepare and stage parts for upcoming PM work orders

  • Reviewcomputer maintenance management system (CMMS)work orders

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of orders, quantities, part types, cycle counts and storage locations

  • Prepare andsubmitorders to replenish stock items and supplies

  • Complete Cycle Counts as needed

  • Maintainappropriate Min/Maxlevels and unique identification for all spare parts, materials, supplies, and tools

  • Prepare and package items forshippingto vendors for repair when needed.

  • Advise planners, production personnel, and internal users on the appropriateness of requested parts, supplies, or materials

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and personal work area

  • Work with the supervisor tooptimizeparts organization and storage systems

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and inventory control principles

  • Must be able to traverse the storeroom quickly and efficiently

  • Physically able tomaintainstoreroom inventory and cleanliness

  • Requires sitting at a computer 50% - 70%shift.Requires walking through the plant to deliver parts on a routine basis.

  • Must be able to walk, see, stand, bend, and navigate stairs and ladders as needed,lift upto 50 pounds as needed

  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills, and be able to work independently when needed
