Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Material Handler for the Weekend Shift at the Opa Locka Service Center. You will support aircraft parts flow, picking, packing and shipping to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires attention to inventory accuracy, basic SAP knowledge, and forklift operation. Weekend availability and teamwork are essential to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of three (3) years experience in Warehouse, Shipping / Receiving & Tool Crib.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing, service orders/ methods.
• Basic knowledge of AOG procedures.
• Trained in Hazardous Materials Requirements.
• Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions).
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
• Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only).
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only).
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
• Assist in loading / unloading shipments.
• Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders.
• Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (i.e., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections and A/C schedule).
• Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only).
