Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Florida is seeking a dedicated warehouse/shipping professional to support parts handling, orders and ground support operations at the Opa Locka Service Center.

The role requires a minimum of three years in warehouse or shipping, knowledge of AOG procedures, hazardous materials handling, and forklift qualification. You will maintain inventory and verify documentation across shipments, while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or tool crib.
• Basic purchasing and service orders knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of AOG procedures.
• Hazardous Materials training.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to general work requirements (factory, shop, or hanger).
• Comply with EH&S policies; perform 5-S activities; work safely and timely.
• Receive/visually inspect incoming/outgoing materials for damage.
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment per aircraft delivery schedules.
• Verify and reconcile documentation on incoming/outgoing parts and materials.
• Maintain inventory via cycle counts, perpetual, and work-in-progress systems.
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments.
• Process timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders.
• Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (export compliance, hazmat, etc.).
• Handle Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only).

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
• Assist in loading / unloading shipments
• Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
• Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (i.e., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections and A/C schedule)
• Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only)

How to thrive in this role?
