Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Material Handler to join our warehouse team in the United States. The role involves unloading, checking in, stocking, picking, consolidating, packing, and shipping inventory efficiently using ERP and SPS systems.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, scan items, and ensure accuracy and safety while meeting daily objectives and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment
• Use ERP system to receive inventory and place in storage racking
• Move palletized product with pallet jacks/forklift to organize receiving dock
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and handheld scanner
• Retrieve items from racking using handheld scanners and ERP
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately using SPS system to ensure great customer experience
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, computers) following safety protocols
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work environment and report hazards
• Collaborate with team to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals
• Adhere to all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions to support operations

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for unloading, checking in, stocking, picking, consolidating, packing, and shipping inventory in the warehouse. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations. This position requires the use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks.

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiently, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the Distribution Center
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations
• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
