Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Material Handler to unload, check in, stock, pick, consolidate, pack, and ship inventory in the warehouse. You will work with our ERP system and warehouse equipment, including forklifts and scanners, to ensure accurate, efficient inbound and outbound operations.

Candidates should be able to perform essential duties safely, follow all policies, and collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals in a fast-paced distribution center

Responsibilities

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment.
• Use ERP system to receive inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift to organize the receiving dock.
• Scan and place inventory in racking with forklift equipment and a handheld scanner.
• Retrieve items from racking using handheld scanner/ERP, on foot or by forklift.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products accurately and securely using SPS system for customer experience.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, computers) safely.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Abide by company and warehouse policies; flex into other duties as needed to support the operation.

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for unloading, checking in, stocking, picking, consolidating, packing, and shipping inventory in the warehouse. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations. This position requires the use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks.

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiently, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the Distribution Center
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations
• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
