This position will be responsible for tracking warehouse stock. Perform as an assistant to the Senior Material Handler/Water Spider, staging materials for bulk production value streams and returning material to the warehouse after production is complete. The Material Handler/Water Spiders will also be responsible for the cycle counting process and maintain organization across all material storage locations in the Saegertown facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • *Promote proactive safety culture
  • *Maintain accurate quality records
  • *Assist the Senior Water Spiders staging materials for each production HPT and returning material to the warehouse after production is complete
  • *Ability to operate all material handling equipment including forklift
  • *Ability to prioritize production schedule and determine where material is needed
  • *Work 12-hour day or night shift
  • *The ability to safely lift up to 55 pounds
  • *Perform the weekly cycle counts and other ad hoc counts as needed to support inventory accuracy
  • *Maintain plantwide 5S expectations
  • *Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • *Willing to cross-train and perform rotating tasks
  • *Availability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • *Be a positive HPT member that promotes continuous improvement

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
