Job description

Overview

The Foot Locker Distribution Center in Camp Hill, PA is holding open interviews on Wednesday, June 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm. Your application is your RSVP!

This seasonal role will last up to 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position based on performance, business needs, and mutual agreement.

The Material Handler is primarily responsible for accurately loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently; sorting according to purchase order (PO) and SKU; using a radio frequency (RF) gun to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores; scanning boxes, opening cases, and then placing them on the correct conveyor for sorting; packing single and multiple customer orders; placing correct shipping labels onto packages and placing on correct conveyor for shipment; inducting apparel and footwear onto the tilt trays and packing product sorted by the tilt trays for shipment to stores.

Available Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00AM until 3:30PM
  • 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 7:00AM until 5:30PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:30PM until 6:30PM *Part Time Hours*
  • Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30AM until 7:00PM

Base rate paid bi-weekly: $16.48 per hour.

Shift Differential:

  • 2nd Shift - $1.00 per hour
  • Weekend Shift - Additional payout of $40.00 if full 36 hours are met.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate RF scanning devices.
  • Efficiently process orders by packing merchandise for shipment.
  • Unload and load merchandise for processing and shipment.
  • Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Process Return to Vendor, returned, and liquidation items as per procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read, write, perform business-related mathematics, and analyze data as required.
  • Report problems to supervisors, safety, or HR.
  • Follow daily procedures and protocols from training.

The physical demands include standing during scheduled hours, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be 18 or older, positive, eager to learn, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift boxes, meet vision, and other physical demands per labor regulations.
  • Basic English proficiency to understand safety instructions and communicate effectively in emergencies. Note: Speaking English exclusively is not required.
