In this role you will lift, move, and prepare steel and related materials, assist customers, and operate equipment after training in a fast-paced steel distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lift, move, and handle steel and other materials weighing 50+ pounds regularly.
• Accurately fill customer orders promptly.
• Assist customers with steel purchases by identifying products and loading orders.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and secure materials.
• Read and measure using tape measures and fractions.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and outdoor yard.
• Receive shipments, verify paperwork, and document activity.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
