Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a proactive Material Handler to manage the safe movement of materials within the facility and to sort, label, and recycle pallets in alignment with sustainability goals.

The role is onsite with a daytime schedule and requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate forklifts, and work well in a team. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
• Stage materials for production and shipping as required.
• Verify counts and condition of materials; report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and organization of storage areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials and products.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collect and sort used pallets and inspect pallets for damage and recycling options.
• Coordinate pallet returns with vendors or recycling partners.
• Maintain accurate records of pallet quantities and recycling activity.
