Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Material Handler – Basic to transport materials within the plant using a tugger and to learn the forklift certification path. You will follow internal systems to ensure accurate material movement and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Required is a high school diploma and 1+ year of material handling experience. Proficiency with MS Office and Oracle ERP is expected, with opportunities for growth into intermediate forklift roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years of material handling/tugger or related manufacturing experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tugger to move materials to drop-off locations.
• Use trigger cards and internal applications to identify material needs and quantities.
• Complete forklift training and certification requirements.
• Review job orders and drawings to determine needed parts/materials.
• Utilize Oracle ERP to check quantities, locations, and history.
• Maintain safety, quality, and department targets.
