Job summary

S&C Electric Company is hiring a Material Handler to transport materials within the manufacturing facility using stand-up forklifts and related equipment. The role requires experience with material handling in a manufacturing setting, forklift operation, and basic inventory transactions.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work overtime as needed. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Hazardous materials handling knowledge is preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles with zero incidents.
• Experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIV to deliver materials to drop-off locations and maintain safety policies.
• Use Oracle ERP to manage orders, quantities, locations and history.
• Meet department targets and uphold quality and safety standards.
