Job summary

K & S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights is seeking a Warehouse Associate to contribute to the warehouse team. The role involves manually loading and unloading tires, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and have previous automotive experience. Health, dental benefits are available after 90 days, alongside monthly performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience is preferred.

Warehouse Associate

K&S is one of the largest and fastest growing tire recyclers in the Midwest. We are looking for reliable, motivated tire handlers to join our team. This position will contribute to the warehouse team and help ensure goals are met safely and efficiently while conforming to all company policies. K&S offers performance incentives and competitive compensation.

The Warehouse Crew will process wheels and tires in a safe manner by loading and unloading trucks with product. Also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse for our customers to safely access a wide selection of tires and satisfy environmental requirements by maintaining a clean and safe outside work area.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload tires onto and off of trucks and/or conveyor belt
• Lift and manually stack tires into trucks, trailers, or the warehouse
• Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
• Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner
• Properly sort tires before loading or unloading under the direction of the General Manager
• Grade tires effectively and efficiently
• Utilize appropriate knowledge of tires and tire safety
• Accurately provide tire counts
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information

Qualifications

• Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
• Previous automotive experience preferred
• High school diploma preferred, but not required
