Job summary

K & S Tire Recycling, Inc is seeking reliable, motivated Tire Handlers to join our warehouse team in the Midwest. This position supports unloading, loading, and tire handling while following safety procedures.

You'll work on tire counts, sorting, and keeping the warehouse organized to help us meet daily goals safely. Employer-paid health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and bonuses are offered to team members. OSHA/MSDS standards are followed, with emphasis on safe lifting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload onto and off of trucks and/or conveyor belt
• Evaluate tires for suitability for retail/resell to the public
• Lift and manually stack tires into trucks, trailers, or the warehouse
• Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
• Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner
• Properly sort tires before loading or unloading under the direction of the General Manager
• Utilize appropriate knowledge of tires and tire safety
• Accurately provide tire counts
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers concerning any incoming or outgoing issues
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area and warehouse.
• Adheres to all corporate and site specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse for our customers to safely access a wide selection of tires.
