Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage inbound and outbound tires in a fast-paced shop environment in Stockton, CA. The role requires hands-on involvement with shipping, forklift operations, P&D tasks, and collaboration with the sales department and service technicians.

Strong people skills and multitasking are essential to drive team performance. Starting pay is based on experience, with benefits including 401(k) matching, PTO, health and other insurance offerings.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Tire experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing tires and coordinate shipping.
• Assign tasks to team members and prioritize workloads.

Job description

Warehouse Associate's manage incoming and outgoing tires. Position is "hands on" working with shipping, forklift, P & D, sales department and service techs. They need to be able to prioritize, multi-task and assign jobs to people as required. People skills to get the best out of your team is fundamental. Tire experience is a plus but not needed. Skills / Education / Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Experience with heavy duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
• Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
