Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is hiring for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) with a $2.00 per hour shift premium. A two-week training period on first shift (7am–3pm) is required. You will sort and stage glass for production, move materials using lift equipment, and help keep the schedule on track.

We value punctuality, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to work overtime or on emergencies. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered as part of a pay-for-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctual and excellent attendance.
• Be available for overtime and emergency work.

Responsibilities

• Sort and stage glass for production on first shift.
• Move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment and carts.
• Understand the schedule and inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment (cleaning/inspection).
• Understand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials/products.

Starting Pay $20.00 per hour

3rd Shift - 11pm to 7:00am (an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium paid) This position requires a two week training period on first shift (7am to 3pm).

What You'll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:

• The primary responsibility of this position will be sorting and staging glass for production on first shift.
• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
