Carfair Composites is a leader in fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) design and composites technology and has dedicated team members located in facilities between Winnipeg, MB (Canada), St. Cloud, MN (USA), and Anniston, AL (USA), Wausaukee, WI (USA) and Gillett, WI (USA).
POSITION SUMMARY
This individual will receive and maintain an accurate inventory of materials and will be responsible for making sure production always has what they need to do their job.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Deliver product (raw materials/supplies/hardware) to production. Stay ahead of production to keep them moving.
• Physically receive, count, & verify all incoming materials and report any quality or quantity issues.
• Receive all packing slips correctly into the system.
• Follow all documented and implemented work instructions.
• Comply with all safety and housekeeping rules and regulations.
• Cycle counts - Inventory counting and control of materials in stockroom/warehouses, on production floor, & work-in-process.
• Reports and follows up on all material shortages and non-conformities.
• Keep an organized stockroom to ensure a steady flow of materials in and out of the area.
• Proper care and daily maintenance of assigned/department tools and equipment.
• Follow and adhere to all housekeeping, health, and safety standards
• Must support and adhere to all Lean and 5S initiatives
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Demonstrated ability on initiative and sound judgment
• Good verbal and written communication
• Have some computer knowledge & willing to learn more
• Organizational skills, data entry, filing
• Must be flexible and able to multitask
• Ability to operate lift truck, Dolly, and/or Pallet Jack
