Job summary

ThermoSafe is seeking a Material Handler in Putnam, CT to support daily production and warehouse operations by moving materials, WIP, and finished goods.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, verify inventory, and assist with loading, unloading, and staging to sustain manufacturing flow.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years in material handling, with attention to 5S, safety, and quality standards; occasional overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of material handler experience typically required.
• Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing and storage areas using 5S standards.
• Perform all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials, components, packaging, and WIP to manufacturing areas to support production.
• Prepare WIP and finished goods for internal movement or shipment, including labeling and staging.
• Move materials from production areas to warehouses and designated storage locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely with pre-use inspections.
