Job summary

PTA Plastics in Connecticut is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm). You will move, stage, and replenish raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies to support production flow and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include delivering materials to production areas, staging completed products, replenishing work cells, and recording transactions in ERP. Forklift operation and EH&S compliance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Basic computer/scanner experience with inventory systems (ERP).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move, stage, and replenish raw materials, finished goods and production supplies to support production flow and inventory accuracy.
• Deliver materials to production areas per job requirements and transport completed product to staging/storage locations.
• Replenish work cells and machines to minimize downtime and record material transactions in ERP.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and ensuring materials are properly labeled and traceable.
