Job summary

DAWAR CONSULTING INC in San Diego, CA seeks a detail-oriented Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material distribution activities, including handling KLA systems, parts, accessories, and components with accurate documentation and safe packaging.

The role requires following packaging procedures, using ERP and project management tools, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely outbound shipments. Forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or related functions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and identify/escalate documentation gaps.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, accountable, and proactive approach to completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, and material handling activities.
• Safely handle delicate and sensitive equipment, parts, and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
• Follow detailed packaging procedures and use judgment for non-standard equipment.
• Work with ERP, email, and project management systems.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and monitor packing material supplies.
• Submit timely requests for replenishment of packing materials.
• Assist with preparing material kits for internal or external assembly operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support outbound shipments.
• May operate a forklift and lift heavy items as required.
