Job summary

Quantum Design in San Diego, CA is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support receiving, storage and distribution for production. You will perform cycle counts, pull materials for kits, and move items to assembly workstations while maintaining bench stock and accurate records.

The role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, independent work and teamwork, with preferred ERP experience and Microsoft Office skills; 100% onsite, 6:00 am–2:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on material handling experience in stocking-focused manufacturing.
• Familiar with storage bays, racking and FIFO procedures.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use e-mail and inventory/production software.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; strong communication.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials and supplies for production flow.
• Perform cycle counting of stocked items.
• Pull materials for kits required by manufacturing.
• Move materials to assembly workstations and maintain bench stock.
• Locate and transfer parts for assemblies.
• Verify stock records, logs and shortage reports.
• Operate hand tools and material handling equipment as needed.
