Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a logistics associate to support loading, unloading, and delivery preparation at its US operations. You will handle documentation, coordinate deliveries for drivers, and ensure accurate material handling across plant locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic IT skills with SAP experience, and the ability to lift heavy objects. This on-site role may include second/third shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
• Multiple years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems.
• Ability to operate transportation machinery.
• 2nd and 3rd shift premium available.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times
