Job summary

Paylocity in Bartow, FL is seeking a warehouse shipping associate to move goods (raw and finished) safely and on time. You will unload and load trailers, locate pallets, and ensure order accuracy while following SOPs for quality.

Must have forklift experience and be able to obtain forklift certification with no prior corrective actions on record. Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with attention to safety and teamwork is essential.

Description

Responsible for the movement of goods (Raw & Finished) throughout the production and warehouse in a safe and timely manner. As with all positions in the shipping department, we must ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are followed as they are written to ensure quality measures are met.

Must have forklift experience, be able to complete a forklift certification, and no corrective actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for unloading/loading trailers in the reasonable expected (RE) time.
2. Responsible for locating pallets in the reasonable expected (RE) time.
3. Responsible for ensuring that orders shipped out are accurate.
4. Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. Ability to drive a forklift in a safe manner adhering to all safety guidelines.

WORKING CONDITIONS

1. Must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

2. Must be able to withstand noisy, dusty work areas.

3. Must always wear safety glasses.

4. Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.

5. Must be able to operate a forklift according to proper safety guidelines, including the wearing of seat belts.

6. Must be aware of surrounding at all times.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2 years previous forklift experience

2. Must complete and pass Phase 1 of forklift program.

3. Must be able to operate a forklift in a professional manner and have good maneuverability skills.
