Production Facility Material Handler - Second Shift

Location: Keene, NH 03431

Position: Material Handler - Second Shift

We are a design-build company located in Walpole, NH, seeking a Material Handler to join our team at the Keene facility. The position is for our second shift, Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Training will begin during the first shift, ideally. There is a shift differential of $2.50/hr for second shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Load, organize, and unload building materials within and around the factory
2. Maintain a steady flow of inventory for CNC processing from generated lists
3. Work closely with CNC Leads to ensure efficient machine operation and material supply to factory operations
4. Operate relevant heavy equipment like forklifts
5. Take inventory of materials and notify Procurement if necessary
6. Utilize inventory and records software
7. Ensure safe handling of materials
8. Assist the team in building insulated walls, roofs, interior walls, and floors as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to measure and identify different types of lumber
• Forklift and machinery experience
• Interest in learning high-quality, high-performance construction methods
• Desire to learn with a positive attitude; teamwork is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
• Computer literacy; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar programs is helpful
• The hourly wage will be commensurate with experience, including shift differential
