Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking a Junior SCM-Procurement professional for the PA PAWS workshop. The Material Handler will move, receive, store, pick, and ship materials, recording actions in SAP and using RF scanners.

Shift 7:30am–4:00pm; hourly rate $19.00. Requirements include 1+ year in material management, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, English proficiency, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years material management experience (warehousing)
• 1+ years driving a forklift, order picker, and stand up forklift
• Ability to lift parts/sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles
• Unload and receive production materials and record them in SAP
• Count and verify incoming materials and pick materials for internal/external customers using RF scanners
• Pack and ship materials damage-free and manage outgoing shipments with proper driver documentation
• Use small hand tools (battery, electrical, air-powered) and follow safety rules
• Work independently with attention to detail and a sense of urgency, performing duties as assigned by supervisor
