Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel to safely operate equipment used for handling packages and heavy freight, including dangerous goods. The role supports pallet buildup and breakdown and may involve interaction with ULD repair vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned and to work in various weather and shift conditions is expected. A valid driver's license and ability to work in a noisy environment are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages of any weight using equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours; able to bend and squat as required.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
