Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a qualified Material Handler to support warehouse operations. You will pick orders with RF scanning, move items with a forklift or pallet jack, and prepare goods for shipment while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires forklift certification or willingness to obtain it and prior warehouse experience; a valid driver’s license is needed if operating a company vehicle. HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified is required.
• RF scanning experience is preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using hand tools.
• Load/unload materials and secure with strapping or padding.
• Transport materials to designated areas with hand truck or dolly.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Participate in safety trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
