Job summary

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a Material Handler I to join our Distribution/Warehouse team. The role is responsible for accurately picking, packaging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

You will use RF scanners and material handling equipment to support daily operations and ensure timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. This position may include overtime during peak periods and offers opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow customer orders and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using an RF scanner.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Package, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Support team members and supervisors in meeting daily productivity and operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
