Job summary

Bel Brands in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a Raw Materials Material Handler for the C shift (Thu-Sun, every other Wed) 7:00am–7:00pm. Responsible for timely movement of materials and accurate inventory via computerized systems.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, logging material movements, and strict adherence to GMP, safety, and quality standards. Requires HS diploma, forklift experience, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior food industry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication in English.

This position is for C shift - Thursday through Sunday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00am - 7:00pm.

Job Summary:

TheRaw MaterialsMaterial Handleris responsible forthetimelymovement of all materials within a designated location.This position is also responsible for tracking movement of materials within the computerized systems to ensure proper inventory availability.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.
• Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
• Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.
• Load/unload 53 foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors
• Shipping and receiving of products and materials
• Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system
• Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift
• Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.
• Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours
• Utilize company operating systems and digital tools, including POKA, Fabriq, DigiDocs, and similar platforms, to support production, documentation, and operational communication.
• Demonstrate the Company's values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift-12hours
• Must be able to lift upto 40lbs.
• Must be able to get on and off a forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift
• Must be able to tolerate climate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical / Trade School preferred

Experience:

• Prior forklift/material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience working in the food industry is preferred

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
• Ability to plan work and anticipate problems
• Computer skills(data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)
• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)
