Tobin Scientific is seeking a Materials Handler for our Beverly, MA warehouse to ensure materials are available for biotech teams while maintaining accurate inventory and high service levels.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, tracking stock, and assisting with on-time delivery of supplies in a temperature-controlled environment. This role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in customer-service with strong track record of client satisfaction.
• Excellent communicator with feedback skills.
• Operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Follow SOPs and work procedures.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and track inventory.
• Load and unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
• Identify risks in inventory levels and high lead-times.
• Coordinate with on-site team for inventory transfer.
• Organize areas and suggest improvements with end users.
• Process deviations according to SOP.
• Represent Tobin Scientific professionally.
