Job summary

Charm-Science is seeking a Materials Handler III in Lawrence, MA to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role ensures accurate flow of materials and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements within a fast-paced environment.

The position requires extensive warehouse experience, proficiency with Excel, and strong communication. The team relies on precise inventory activities, cycle counts, and coordination with Purchasing and Logistics to meet operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or related materials management experience.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and ability to use warehouse-related systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, and measure materials for accuracy against records.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and coordinate resolution.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory verification to support accuracy.
• Pick, package, label, and prepare materials for shipment per customer requirements.
• Prepare domestic and international shipments in compliance with shipping regulations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Receive products and process transactions in company systems.
• Maintain finished goods inventory including lot control and expiration date monitoring.
• Prepare international shipping documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders.
• Provide shipping quotations and logistics support to internal teams.
