Job summary

The Wilmington Group is hiring a Full Time Plant Laborer at our Haw River, NC plant. You will support plant operations safely and efficiently, maintaining the production floor.

The hourly rate is based on experience, with a shift from 1 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, plus extended hours as needed. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in an industrial setting, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety awareness at all times.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual material separation for processing.
• Remove non-compliant materials during sorting.
• Handle and store incoming materials properly.
• Maintain general plant housekeeping on and off the floor.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff.

We are seeking a Full Time Plant Laborer for our Haw River, NC plant. The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly rate based on experience. Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 1 PM - 10 PM with extended hours on an as-needed basis.

How you will make an impact:

• Performing manual material separation for processing
• Removing non-compliant materials during the sorting process
• Handling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant
• General plant housekeeping inside and outside the building
• Reporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff

What you need to succeed:

• 0-2 years’ experience in an industrial environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• High awareness to safety at all times
• Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate equipment properly and safely
• Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies.
