Job summary

stow is seeking a warehouse picker to join our US team in Adairsville, GA. You will follow supervisor instructions, prioritize tasks from orders, and use SAP/SharePoint guidance to prepare shipments with accuracy and speed.

You will participate in 5S audits, assist teammates, and help maintain safety and clean facilities. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting and handling materials, and a commitment to reliable attendance and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines.
  • Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools.
  • Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Follows scan/SAP instructions indicating replenishment needs.
  • Follows management instructions to improve work methods and prevent complaints or damages.
  • Gives instructions to order pickers and takes initiative to improve productivity and avoid complaints.
  • Checks prepared orders and stores completed orders in stock.
  • Ensures overseas packaging complies with required standards.
  • Adapts to changes in work priorities.
  • Maintains order and cleanliness and ensures regular cleaning by order pickers.
  • Ensures compliance with safety rules and monitors safety practices.
  • Reports all relevant information to supervisors to enable performance reporting by completing the end-of-shift report.
  • Assists colleagues when needed.
  • Requests creation of new storage locations to avoid order splits.
  • Checks open transfer orders daily to ensure orders are completed before loading begins.
  • Transmits location data to the supervisor to ensure correct master data updates.
  • Assists with inventory and cycle counting.
  • Ensures best practices among order pickers and proposes improvement initiatives.
  • Performs the same tasks as order pickers when availability allows.
  • Conducts 5S audits.

The warehouse of the future is equipped with our autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space).

Job Description

The picker receives instructions from the supervisor or warehouse support regarding the loading schedule. Based on the orders to be prepared, they organize work according to priority, while following oral and/or written instructions (recorded in SharePoint).

  • Follows scan/SAP instructions indicating replenishment needs
  • Follows management instructions to improve work methods and prevent complaints or damages
  • Gives instructions to order pickers and takes initiative to improve productivity and avoid complaints
  • Checks prepared orders
  • Stores completed orders in stock
  • Ensures overseas packaging complies with required standards
  • Adapts to changes in work priorities
  • Maintains order and cleanliness and ensures regular cleaning by order pickers
  • Ensures compliance with safety rules and monitors safety practices
  • Reports all relevant information to supervisors to enable performance reporting to management by completing the end-of-shift report (documenting activities performed during the shift)
  • Assists colleagues when needed
  • Requests creation of new storage locations to avoid order splits
  • Checks open transfer orders (TOs) daily to ensure orders are completed before loading begins
  • Transmits location data to the supervisor to ensure correct master data updates
  • Assists with inventory and cycle counting
  • Ensures best practices among order pickers and proposes improvement initiatives
  • Performs the same tasks as order pickers, according to their job description, when availability allows
  • Conducts 5S audits according to instructions
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materialsin accordance withOSHA lifting guidelines

Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools

  • Forklift license (certification or authorization) with at least 2 yrs of recent experience.

Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred

Ability to standand walkfor extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Strong attention to detail,commitment toquality, anddetecting anomalies.

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Reliable attendance and punctuality
