WGNSTAR is hiring a Material Handler / Parts Runner – Installation Support in Hillsboro, OR to support inventory and tool crib operations. The role emphasizes hands-on work, organization, and collaboration across fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of material handling, inventory, warehouse, or parts-running experience.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic computer tools.
• Safety mindset and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control for arriving tool shipments and inventory lists for multiple tool sets.
• Organize parts and build daily kits for delivery into fab areas.
• Run parts to and from utility level, SubFAB, and FAB areas.
• Move materials through cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments using stairs, dumbwaiters, and freight elevators.
• Maintain clean and organized laydown areas with daily checks and signage review.
• Maintain the tool crib for installation instruments, test fixtures, and robotic calibration equipment.
• Support safe work practices around the delivery dock environments.
• Train to support Safety Buddy responsibilities and routines.
• Learn Tier 0 installation basics to assist when needed.

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Material Handler / Parts Runner – Installation Support to support inventory control, parts movement, tool crib organization, and day-to-day site operations in Hillsboro, OR. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, stays organized in fast‑paced environments, and takes pride in keeping materials, tools, and work areas running smoothly. In addition to core material‑handling responsibilities, this position also supports Safety Buddy activities and provides installation support by learning Tier 0 system basics and assisting when needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory control for arriving tool shipments and inventory lists for multiple tool sets
• Organize parts and build daily kits for delivery into fab areas
• Run parts to and from utility level, SubFAB, and FAB areas
• Move materials through cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments using stairs, dumbwaiters, and freight elevators
• Maintain clean and organized laydown areas through daily checks, trash removal, barrier inspections, and signage review
• Maintain the tool crib for specialized installation instruments, test fixtures, and robotic calibration equipment
• Support safe work practices in and around delivery dock environments
• Train to support Safety Buddy responsibilities, including hole watch, elevated work watch, and random LOTO inspection support
• Learn Tier 0 installation basics across multiple systems in order to assist when needed

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of related experience in material handling, inventory, warehouse, or parts-running work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in foundational computer tools, including Excel
• Safety mindset and situational awareness
• Motivated self-starter
• Strong organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Base knowledge of electrical, chemical, mechanical, and thermal hazards

Preferences:

• Fab experience preferred
• Technical certificate or associate degree preferred

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
