Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service and repair semiconductor processing equipment on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon. Travel up to 80% to customer sites and factories is required, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and hands-on repair work.

The role involves reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, using test meters and hand/power tools, and collaborating with teams to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience resolving tool-related challenges.
• Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.
• AS/BS or equivalent military.
• 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel and/or overnight travel may be required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Schedule: Days, but may vary subject to customers’ demands and requirements

Pay Rate: $28-$32+/hr DOE

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Travel: 80% - domestic or occasional international travel.

Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties And Responsibilities Will Be

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
• Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools.
• Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
