Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Overview

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in pallet buildup and breakdown containing heavyweight freight. Acts as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

None required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in all weather conditions and enclosed spaces.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if needed.
• Successful completion of all training requirements.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

Non-safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Valid driver's license needed for operating motorized conveyances. Must maintain alertness and work safely.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.29/hr (including pay premium). Eligible for health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Shift: PM.
