C-A-L Ranch Stores was founded in 1959 in Idaho Falls, ID, by Clinton, Allen, and L. Wayne Murphy. The family used their initials “C-A-L” to create their brand. Our first store, located in Idaho Falls, ID, was called C-A-L Ranch & Farm Supply. The store had less than 3,000 square feet and primarily sold tillage tools and hardware. What You’ll Do

As a sales associate in Animal Health, Apparel, Sporting Goods, or Hardlines, you will deliver excellent customer service and promote our wide range of products and brands. We aim for continual improvement in all aspects of our work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and help determine their needs.
• Display merchandise, suggest products, and highlight key features such as quality and utility.
• Keep shelves stocked, organized, and properly priced.
• Assist at the cash register and in other departments as needed.
• Promote and sell promotional items and our C-A-L Ranch credit card.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; assistance is required for heavier items over 50 pounds.
• Ability to interact friendly and effectively with customers.
• Willingness to learn and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
