Shift and status
Part time, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Variable days and every other weekend.

Job Summary

Performs duties involving equipment, materials, linens, and supplies for an assigned area. Responsibilities include inventory management, stocking, receiving, delivering, and ensuring supplies are available at various locations. Uses computer-based inventory systems and collaborates with supply chain and staff to provide excellent service.

Essential Functions

1. Responds to requisitions via fax, intranet, hardcopy, and phone by dispensing supplies or ordering from vendors. Performs additional duties as assigned.
2. Maintains inventory levels, rotates stock, and ensures a neat appearance of storage areas.
3. Uses handheld computers or other methods to manage inventory, inputting data into the main system.
4. Breaks down delivery carts/pallets and assembles orders for delivery.
5. Delivers products and equipment following safety guidelines, securing loads and using proper techniques.
6. Removes soiled linen/products from units, following safety precautions.
7. Packages products for delivery, labels, and arranges for shipping or delivery.
8. Loads and unloads cargo, possibly using forklifts or pallet jacks, and checks deliveries against purchase orders.
9. Documents receipt of supplies, reports damages or discrepancies, and maintains accurate records.
10. Participates in safety initiatives and completes related competencies.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or equivalent; excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred: Prior transport experience; CRT-HI-LO Certification.
