Job summary

The ideal candidate has forklift certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills; overtime may be required to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication and documentation between the project team and field.
• Organize material storage and laydown yards.
• Document and maintain inventory logs and receiver paperwork for materials delivered to the jobsite.
• Deliver material to various work areas as needed.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and daily toolbox talks.

The Position:

We are looking for a Material Handler/Expeditor with the basic knowledge in electrical and instrument material types and descriptions, to complement our experienced workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining proper communication and documentation between the projectteam and field
• Responsible for maintaining an organizing material storage container andlaydown yards.
• Responsible for properly documenting and maintaining inventory logs andreceiver paperwork associated with material delivered to the jobsite.
• Responsible for delivering material to various work areas as needed
• Must attend weekly safety meetings
• Attend daily toolbox meetings

Requirements:

• Must have high knowledge of document word processing, especially with MSWord, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat for creation of new documents and
  conversions of prior document programs and formatting.
• Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.
• Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.
• Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
• Strong mindset especially in the areas of being a team player, dependable,attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance,
  willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense ofurgency and energy.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Must have a current driver’s license, and MVR .
