Job description

The Position

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager with experience and knowledge in electrical and instrument tools and equipment types, warehouse experience and the ability to drive and operate company‑owned equipment. The Associate will report to the Services Manager at our Baton Rouge Corporate campus. This is a leadership role with direct report responsibilities.

• Enterprise software exposure or experience preferred.
• Has mechanical aptitude.
• Must have the ability to retain and apply new information quickly.
• Need to understand and apply department and company policies and procedures. Need to know the how and why.
• Understand basic business procurement processes.
• Take ownership and can see projects and tasks from beginning to end.
• Adaptable to an ever-changing work landscape.
• DOT and CDL knowledge base.
• Direct the repairs and maintenance of storage containers, field offices, gang boxes, flammable storage boxes, portable shelters, litter pans, pulling ropes, etc.
• Assist in maintaining delivery vehicle and equipment records, licenses, and permits.
• Ensure that Drivers and other personnel maintain necessary OSHA training, CDL licenses, other permits, and driver logs.
• Independently research and study new equipment and tools for potential use.
• Coordinate equipment backorders with the rest of the team via backorder process.
• Offer suggestions on improving warehouse functions and efficiency.
• Maintains Tool Catalog for updates and revisions.
• Has strong inventory management skills and monitors equipment inventories at multiple locations.
• Perform other tasks as needed or instructed.
