Job summary

Jobtailor in Taylor, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, scan, label, count and move inventory. You will help maintain accurate stock levels while operating equipment safely. This role requires reliability and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a high school diploma or GED; 6 months of warehouse experience preferred; MHE certification is a plus. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product.
• Responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies.
• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
• Execute all safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment preferred.
• Current or prior MHE certification preferred.
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Computer skills not specified but basic to intermediate mathematical skills needed to verify quantities of product and count inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
