Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent customer service, collaborating effectively and providing timely communication.
• Perform manual tasks such as inventory picking, cargo counting, staging, and loading using manual equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, and prepare orders for shipment or storage.
• Manage the sorting and placement of materials based on various characteristics, potentially leading small teams or training new hires.
• Operate forklifts upon certification and ensure accuracy in inventory documentation and tracking.
• Monitor warehouse maintenance and safety tasks, reporting issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; at least two years of warehousing or logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required within 3-6 months of hire; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse tools and basic computer applications; forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills, with the ability to follow instructions and complete forms accurately.
