Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently; basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; communicate and instruct as needed.
• Perform manual material handling tasks: picking, counting, staging, and loading goods.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the area.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins according to characteristics.
• Operate forklift once certified and required.
• Complete forms, labels, and documents to ensure inventory accuracy and receiving/delivery records.
• Use hand tools to close/open containers and crates; assist with packaging tasks.
• Identify operational or service concerns and assist with resolution.
• Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks: cleaning, staging, packing, and storage areas.
