Job summary

You will update locations in the electronic system, participate in 5S housekeeping, assist with down-time reporting, and train new MFG Material Handlers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, distribute and store products in designated locations.
• Prepare and maintain records of materials received/shipped with dates and details.
• Review shipments for quality and accompanying documents for accuracy.
• Transport and load materials, supplies and finished goods.
• Update product location moves in the electronic system.
• Complete work-in-process inventory counts as required by 5AM.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and report downtime to supervisor.
• Train new MFG Material Handlers.
• Support Prior process and related tasks as needed.

Essential Responsibility:This position is responsible for supporting Latter and Prior process duties in order to assure smooth logistics operations.List of Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities:Receives, distributes and stores products as directed in designated, secure locationsPrepares and maintains records of materials received/shipped including dates of transactions and other pertinent information.Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews for accompanying documents for accuracy.Transports and loads materials, supplies and finished goodsAccurately and consistently update product location moves on electronic systemComplete work in process (WIP) inventory count as required. The WIP count should be completed by 5AMCollects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strappingMaintains 5S within the working area.·5S includes-Lots in same row as accompanying Parts-Corrugate staged in appropriate location at line-Remove any empty pallets or scrap corrugates from areaUpon any downtime Material Handler should report to area Supervisor for direction. These jobs may include supporting Prior process, Hand Shimming, and/or CleaningResponsible for training New MFG Material Handlers.
