Job summary

New Millennium in Memphis is seeking a production position that will assist with all functions of production in a steel processing facility with deck rolling mills, paint line, weld line, fabrication/assembly area, and accessories equipment.

Responsibilities include material handling with forklift/crane or by hand, operation of all plant equipment, assembly of specialized products, and light maintenance duties, plus any other duties to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• Identify and resolve problems quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to handle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Good math skills and clear oral and written communication.
• Must lift 75 pounds.
• Formal technical education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industrial plant experience preferred.
