Job summary

Irby Utilities is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations—receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. You may deliver materials and ensure accurate order fulfillment using RF devices.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with the potential for night and weekend shifts to support storm response efforts and ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work nights and weekends to assist with storm response efforts as required.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English to perform the essential functions of the position, follow safety procedures, understand work-related instructions, and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
• Fill orders using RF devices and issue materials per requests.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and promote safe work practices.
• Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
