Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a Material Handler to support our production and quality objectives. As part of our team, you will work on the production floor, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency. Key responsibilities may include quality inspections, forklift operation, scrap documentation, housekeeping, raw material handling, and supporting special projects. This role is vital to our operations team.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a 'people first' culture
  • Safely and efficiently clear production lines
  • Transport bundles to quality hold areas
  • Visually inspect products and timber tags
  • Grade product colors
  • Maintain saw logs
  • Log and count scrap accurately
  • Perform housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Transport packaging materials and raw materials to meet production goals
  • Follow safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out
  • Support special projects as assigned
Experience

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience as a machinist, forklift operator, or general manufacturing worker is valuable and we encourage you to apply.
