Job summary

Applied Materials is hiring Material Handlers for our Newburyport, MA facility to support manufacturing operations and maintain inventory accuracy. This 18‑month contract role requires handling and moving materials, expediting shortages, and coordinating with multiple teams.

The position offers a first shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with pay ranging from $19 to $21 per hour. Occasional coverage at Rowley, MA is expected based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience loading and unloading materials, supplies, or equipment.
• Warehouse, stockroom, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, skids, or similar material handling equipment.
• Forklift/Fork Truck experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Experience communicating material status and coordinating shortages with multiple departments.

Position Summary
