Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is seeking production material handlers to operate in our Hebron, Ohio facility. You will assemble materials, operate machinery, and ensure quality and safety while meeting daily production needs.

The position requires reading, writing, and using measuring devices, plus willingness to work rotating day shifts including weekends. We offer a robust benefits package and a supportive culture within a large, trusted company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and use measuring devices.
• Able to work any shift including weekends.
• Self-motivated with safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies.
• Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers.
• Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader or Production Manager to meet scheduled demands.
• Ensure that the standards for quality, output, safety etc. are adhered to and improved upon.
• Properly maintain equipment.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services that do not sacrifice the safety of others, one’s self, nor the environment.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Sweep floors and empty trash containers daily and maintain a clean working environment.
• Must be available to work at any time, day (including weekends) and rotating shifts.
• Must be able to read, write, and use measuring devices.
